This artwork is one whole natural fluorescent sodalite stone that is cut down the middle, with the two front faces polished. The outer shell is left completely natural. This particular piece has zero cracks, beautiful quality, most all fluorescent sodalite will have some sort of cracks upon cutting them open. This piece has a very nice polish with a slightly rounded front faces. Genuine cut Lake Superior Fluorescent Sodalite Yooper Stone from Ontonagon County Michigan. ****Make sure you are using 365nm uv light flashlight, a 365nm uv light will have a black lense. ****395nm uv flashlights will work but not very well, a 395nm uv flashlight will have a clear colored lense. ****SOME PICTURES WERE TAKEN WITH A 365NM UV FLASHLIGHT TO SHOW OFF THE FLUORESCENT SODALITE.
