Description: WWI REPRODUCTION OFFICER EGA( Eagle, Globe and Anchor) This is an excellent REPRODUCTION of a classic Marine Corps insignia. This is the insignia the Marine Officers would have worn for the campaign hats as well as the overseas hat. Sometimes they were afixed to helmets. Overseas the EGA was the only hat insignia that made them stand out from the Army. This OFFICER EGA is a perfect replica down to the brass screw back. I have sold many of these at military shows, reenactments and to Marine Corps Veterans. My repros have been on display in museums and can be seen in the Marine Corps Quantico museum, with no complaints, just excitement . This item is a must for the WWI collector, Veteran, Reenactor, historian or Marine Corp Collector. When you buy this item you are recieving a great EGA. This EGA will fit on a helmet if needed.
