Description: This lot consists of two small World War II photographs PLEASE NOTE- these are original photographs, NOT reprints. These b/w photos were acquired as part of a small group of photos taken by an American soldier who served in the Pacific. Unfortunately, I do not have any information on these photos other than what is written on the backs. Some of his other photos were taken in Okinawa. (1) This photo is 2.7" by 4.5". It shows some soldiers and their female friends standing in front of the local USO. The photo is in good condition, with some paper remnants on the back (from being glued in a scrapbook). (2) This photo is 2.4" by 1.6". It shows a soldier named Eddie Hurst in the Philippines in 1945. Hurst was evidently a member of C.B.M.U. (Construction Battalion Maintenance Unit) #543.
