Description: What a beauty! This exquisitely tailored designer suit was purchased at a high end area dress shop back in the 60s. Mohair! The 2 pieces can be worn as separates - the skirt with a stylish sweater, the jacket with trousers or jeans! I had trouble getting the color right in my images. It's not as white looking as the pictures, it's more a mellow cool tone brown. Leamond Dean, HH limited label plus union label. No size label as was a fairly common thing in dress shop garments. The shop employee eyeballed you and took the garment she thought would best fit you from the rack. Personal attention! Can we imagine shopping like that today? Garment measurements are 37" bust for the jacket which is 24" long. Sleeves are 22" long, shoulder width 16". Skirt waist 29", hip 39", length 25". Cool details such as fabric bound buttonholes abound. Grosgrain ribbon lined waistband. Both pieces are fully lined, a slub textured lining for the jacket. The only flaw I notice is a tiny light brown stain on jacket lining which is visible in one photo. This estate aquisition has been in a closet for nearly 60 years. It looks clean but you'll want to give it a trip to the cleaners. Some storage odor but no smoking, mothballs or perfumey odors. I ship ASAP!
