This is the Walthers Built-Up Firehouse Station No. 4 The first assembled model of it's type, the firehouse is typical of early 1900's designs that fit most layouts. Because you'll find these buildings in industrial settings, the model is right at home among factories, railroad buildings, or commercial scenes. Also ideal as a display model, it's long enough to house most ladder truck and pumper models. Opening wood doors for pre-1970's era scenes are standard, and modern roll-up doors are included so you can easily modernize the structure if you desire. A pre-installed interior 12V incandescent light is also included. Decals are not included.
