The whole set could use a good cleaning -- it looks like someone has cleaned it at least once, as there is some remnants of the silvr polish. There is some tarnish. It is quite large -- the punch bowl measures approximately 15" x 15" x 9" tall.The cups measure approximately 3 1/2" wide (excluding the handle x 3" tall; with the handle, they measure approximately 4 1/2" wide. It is a beautiful set! Here is some additional information that I responded to:Please understand -- I'm no expert on this and will tell you what I see... I don't see any places on the bowl that are down to the metal; however, the original owner has used silver polish on it, and did not clean the crevices -- I do not know how many times the original owner cleaned this, so I don't know how thick the plating is. Several of the cups do have plating loss in the bottom of the cups as there are small spots down to the metal. They all are tarnished and have some silver polish remnants in crevices. I hope this helps! It really is a very pretty set -- I just have no need for it. It is going to take a large box to ship this, so shipping is not going to be cheap!
