Description: This beautiful vase is a signed Weller piece done in an art deco nouveau handled urn style. The impressed Weller signature on the bottom dates this vase as being made around or before 1935. The bottom is signed with the artist's scripted initial with it being an "R" or an "A". The almost century old artisan's signature makes this vase collectible. This is called the Cameo line of art pottery with applied white glazed Jonquil flowers against a robins egg blue pottery. Since I do not know the exact year of the manufacturing of this piece, it could be bordering on the vintage/antique line. This piece is in very nice condition for being almost 100 yrs old, there are no chips or cracks and no fleabites to the rim. There are no scratches or scuffs in the finish. Only minor flaws are ones that were made during the manufacturing process...most noticeable are the two tiny superficial holes in the pottery as shown in last photo. Interior does have some crazing which I have shown in a zoomed in photo, the exterior does not have crazing. No odors. Measurements: 6 3/4 tall, 4 1/2 inches across from handle to handle. Top of vase diameter is 6 inch diameter measured from the interior side of the rim, Base is 4 inches in diameter. Please ask any questions. Thank You.
