Description: For your consideration is a vintage Hip Moreau statue. This is a Spelter piece that is painted to look like it is Bronze. This was the original design of Hippolyte Francois Moreau. He was a French Sculptor born in April of 1832 and died Jan of 1926. He was the son of Jean-Baptiste Moreau. This figurine was actually of his season collection. This one is of a woman collecting flowers and was named Spring. There are 2 doves sitting near her feet. This piece is 20" tall. A beautiful piece. The felt on the bottom has come off. I am including it so that you can glue it back on or use if for a template for a new piece. I do have another of Hip Moreau's statue figurines that I am also listing. That one is a chalkware and of the same season collection, so make sure you also check that one out. Thanks for looking.
