Description: Up for bid is a great vintage seldom seen milk bottle. Goldberg Dairy Co, 1449 w 12th St. Although the bottle isn't marked Chicago, this was located in Chicago. (We found references to Sam Goldberg at this address in a 1915 Chicago Dept of Health Bulletin). 12th St was renamed Roosevelt Rd in 1919. Approx 6 7/8" tall, 3" wide at base. Been sitting on a dusty shelf of a collector for years. Dug bottle. No cracks or chips. Bottle shows case wear/scratches/hazing/staining, minor fleabites/bruises. Condition as shown. The patina is as found, could use some cleaning. We wiped some of the dust off to take pictures and will leave any further cleaning to the new owner. Should tumble nicely.
