Description: Rare CORO 1938 Quivering Camellias gold and silver tone pot metal with emerald green enamel with clear and emerald green pave rhinestones in round and baguette shapes. The flower sits atop a hidden spring so that the flower "quivers" when the person wearing it moves. These CORO Camellia trembler duettes are highly sought after and collectible. Both back clips are in great shape and are marked "Reg.U.S.A. Pat.Off" & "P. Pat 11029G." Enamel and metal are in good shape. One clip is missing 6 small round stones that is not really visible to the naked eye. Identified this with a loupe. Considering these are 85yrs old they are in great shape. In modern today I would think that these clips would be beautiful clipped onto some black heels or fancy flats, onto a purse/bag, onto a dress coat or as intended...a fur, scarf, sweater, etc.
