Description: Vintage 1970s Black Polyester Disco Suit. (42 Reg / Tall ) Disco Bell Bottoms Hipster Retro LeisureThis sharp-looking disco era suit is very well-preserved. It doesn't look like the jacket got much use as the original size tag is in the inside pocket. The material is a slightly shiny ribbed polyester knit cloth. The cut of the jacket is American style with wide 4.75" lapels, exterior patch pockets, padded shoulders, a partial lining, and a deep single rear vent. The trousers have a flat front, a very high rise, wide belt loops, a metal zipper, and moderately flared bottoms, which measure to 9.5" opening. This item was sourced from a local theater group which was cleaning out a costume storage area which dates back 50 years. Condition: Excellent vintage condition. No holes or visible wear. Only lightly used. Bottom button on the jacket is missing. A couple of discoloration spots in the canvassing of the pants, which is normal for the age - see photos. The jacket has a stiff new feeling about it. Original size label is in the interior pocket. From a smoke-free home.Maker: Witty Brothers.
