Description: Giant sony boombox. positives- -antenna and handle not broken-AM/FM stereo function works well and sounds great-volume, tone, power button, and tuning function work like they should-both VU meters work-I see no chips or breaks on case-cord included, though probably not the original cord that came with the radio negatives- -cassette player is missing door and most buttons and is untested and assuming it is non-working-battery cover is missing and there is some corrosion on contacts-they are not broken off and can be cleaned-speaker grills are pushed in-not horrible, but definitely noticeable-old tape and tape residue, looks like someone taped the handle to stay upright and taped the door on the cassette player-radio is dirty and would really benefit from a good detail cleaning-general scratches and wear of finish from use All and all this would be a great parts radio or a good candidate for restoration, or project--phone docking station/custom Bluetooth speaker? Measures about 23" wide, 12" high, and 6" deep. Sold as is - I cannot guarantee vintage electronics once they leave my possession. Thank you for looking.
