Description: The fine item you are considering is Vintage Peavey Heritage VTX Series Tube Combo Guitar Amplifier Amp. This monster of a tube combo by Peavey is “almost” in great working condition and looks to me like it just needs a good internal cleaning. The amp powers up and sounds great (very loud) with the issue being that several of the knobs are scratchy due to age, and while they’re fine while they’re not being moved, when you turn them, you can get some loud crackling coming through the amp. Both the phase and reverb are working, but the phase can cut out due to the scratchy phase pot and you may need to turn the knob to get the effect to pop back in. The amp otherwise shows age and wear and could use a good external cleaning as well, and the front grill is a tad bit loose. Someone has installed some furniture rollers on the bottom to make the amp easier to roll around and one of those is busted- They still make it a bit easier to move the amp around, so if you’re the winning bidder/buyer, let me know if you want me to leave these on or just take them off.
