Description: Item up for sale is a gorgeous porcelain tile painted with the portrait of a well to do looking young woman. This piece has a glazed finish that shows some surface crazing and scratches with some surface soiling and patina present. Lower left for the tile shows a surface chip as you can see in photos. Item is marked "MD 89" to the right of the woman's shoulder. Item was found in a period frame which is in great condition showing only light surface wear. Back side shows some wear and tear to the covering paper. Hanging hardware with wire is installed and ready to use. Entire piece measures 9-1/4" top to bottom by 7-1/4" wide by 0-3/4" in depth.
