Description: This is a vintage Mid Century Modern lucite or acrylic Calla Lily table lamp. I can’t be certain, but I would estimate it dates circa 1940s or 1950s. To the top of the finial, it measures 27 inches tall (68.6 cm). To the top of the socket, it measures 18 1/4 inches tall (46.3 cm). The base measures approximately 9 inches wide (22.8 cm). I don’t know if a company made this or if it was handmade by an individual. I don’t see any markings on it. The lamp has some issues. All of the lucite, both clear and green has numerous scattered scratches on it. There are also scuff marks and a couple of spots of old paint that dripped on it. The damage is hard to photograph, given all the glares. Still, I took a number of photos to try to show this. Probably the worst part is the base, where the green leaves/feet meet the center. There is quite a bit of what may be old mold caught in between. There is no way to clean this out though. In spite of this, I found the lamp to be so unique that I still purchased it. The lamp is working, but I always recommend rewiring any vintage lighting. It weighs 2 pounds 4 oz. (1.024 kg).
