Description: Vintage McCoy Pottery Planter circa 1950s, Hunting Bird Dog, Preowned. For its age, this piece of pottery is in excellent condition. It has the usual crazing in the finish due to old age. It has a very small nick in the tip of the shrubbery just above and to the right of the dog's collar (see the last closeup photo). It has some manufacturer's defects where the glaze was not fully applied (see the 2nd, 3rd and 4th closeup photos from the end). Otherwise, it is in excellent condition. It measures 8.5 inches tall, 12 inches wide and 4.5 inches deep. This item has been in my family since it was purchased new and is from a smoke-free home. Thank you for your interest.
