Description: For sale is a lot of two vintage Madame Alexander Wendykins and Vogue Ginny dolls made in the early 1950s. They are both the "straight leg walker" type. When the legs of the dolls are moved forward and back, their heads turn. This mechanism still works on the Madame Alexander but the Ginny doll doesn't work as smoothly. Both dolls are in good condition but will need some TLC. Madame Alexander's sleep eyes still work but Ginny's do not. Both have stray marks and some discoloration to their face and body from play. Both doll's arms are loose and don't pose well. Both wigs are very messy and matted. Madame Alexander comes wearing a makeshift outfit which includes a purple bodysuit with loose snaps, a pair of bloomers, and a lovely handmade crochet skirt. Ginny comes wearing an untagged and possibly handmade outfit. With some work, these two could make a beautiful addition to your Madame Alexander and Ginny collection! Measure about 7" tall. Sold as is, what you see in the pictures is what you get. Serious buyers only please, immediate payment is required on all my Buy It Now items.
