Description: This is a vintage USA made Lamson LP 3.5 fly reel. This is from the days before waterworks. I currently have some white backing spooled on it that it will ship with. I believe it to be 30lb Dacron. This reel is for 8wt line if used for a single handed rod but is also ideal for trout Spey or Switch rod. The reel is machined from bar-stock aircraft aluminum, with a caliper disc drag system. It has a diameter of about 3.75 inches and a weight of about 7.75 oz. Overall, the reel is in great shape for being as old as I am! No rash or damage whatsoever just some minor scratches as seen in the pictures.
