Description: The company was founded by Jürgen Jürgensen in 1740 in Denmark, when Jürgen Jürgensen went into partnership with Isaac Larpent, under the name "Larpent & Jürgensen". Upon Jürgen's death in 1811, his son Urban took over the company, keeping the name.Following Urban's death the Danish company continued its operations as Urban Jürgensen & Sønner by 1891; then, Urban Jürgensen & Sønner Eftf in 1886, while one of Urban's sons, Jules Frederik, moved to Switzerland and established a subsidiary branch. This is a late 1960's Jules Jurgensen manual winder. A hard to find watch in this near pristine condition. The case, mineral glass crystal, dial and hands are all exceptional. I have carefully checked this watch and it is keeping excellent time. The original presentation case is also in excellent condition with NO smells. I have added a brand new fresh leather band. Measures: 27mm width without crown, 38mm lug to lug tips, 8mm thick and 18mm lug width.
