The crossguard, marked "Japan", is the only place that appears marked on the knife. The blade, measuring 5", retains the factory edge and factory applied sawback. It is sharp with no damage or sharpening to the edge. It is unmarked, showing plum patina to the bluing with excellent crossgraining. Look at the photos to judge condition for yourself. This auction includes a nice original sheath. The sheath features a small pouch with a sharpening stone. You will receive the exact set pictured.
