Description: This vintage gold, cream and green hand painted gilt wood hinged trinket box is marked “made in Italy” on the bottom along with the number 9125 that is on a sticker/label. This box measures 4 “x 4” x 2”. This box does show wear and there is a chip in the top corner which I’ve circled in purple in one of the pictures. Inside is lined in a brown felt material. Box is light, possibly balsa wood and lid is hinged. What I can tell you about this box - well, my grandmother passed away over 30 years ago, and as young adult, I remember this sitting on her dresser. I don’t know anything about it other than it was my grandmothers, and she treasured it. Now it’s time for someone else to treasure it. Check out my other listings I will combine shipping.
