Made in Italy Expressly for Bergdorf Goodman. Recently professionally cleaned. This was purchased at the BG Store in New York in the late 80's or early 90's. It was purchased in the mens department. I mention this because the cleaners labeled this as a women's sweater. It has been worn by a size 40-42 Man. Always properly cleaned and stored. Dimensions noted in the last photo.
