Description: This vintage Action Man is attired in an US 7th Cavalry outfit that was originally Issued between 1977-78, for just the two years. The US 7th Cavalry outfit was part of the Wild West series (also called the Way Out West series), initially developed by Palitoy. While the series fared fairly well in Britain, the series was destined to be a huge success in Europe. Surprisingly, it was never released in the US market. One of life's little mysteries, I guess. This Wild West set is getting harder to find intact, and even harder to find as clean as this lovely set. This condition of each accessory is available in the listing. This Wild West set is getting harder to find intact, and even harder to find as clean as this lovely set. This condition of each accessory is: Vintage Action Man circa 1974-76 with original flocked hair and repro gripping hands has the correct 1964 Palitoy stamp on his back. His joints are nice and joint; he holds a very comfortable pose. There's a small stress crack on the back of one calf (near knee) Otherwise, minimal surface wear. His original flocked hair is thick and bright with a couple of small thin spots that are hard to see but noted anyway. His face paint is great with light eye brow rubs. Single Breasted, Navy Blue Jacket is constructed of light weight fabric features five golden spiked buttons and three yellow fabric stripes on each sleeve. Nylon tag that reads Palitoy Action Man Made in Hong Kong. Fabric is brightly colored, crisp and clean with no fading noted, and only light play wear. Brass buttons are lightly oxidized. Snaps/poppers are present and in perfect working order. Light Blue Striped Riding Breeches in a medium weight blight blue fabric with thin yellow stripes down each side. No pockets. Two front snaps/poppers are present and in good working order. All four blue suspender buttons are present and securely fastened. Fabric is clean and brightly colored with minimal play wear. Yellow Cloth Braces with elastic loops on each end (fit onto the pants waist buttons) is clean and brightly colored with very light play wear. Yellow Cloth Scarf is clean and brightly colored with light play wear. Blue Kepi (hat) made of blue rubber with painted black peak, painted golden buttons on each side, and a metal '7th Cavalry' badge pinned on the front. Super clean, soft and flexible with minimal play wear. Calf Length Black Riding Boots feature chrome painted spurs that fit under the heel with a rubber strap. They are clean and intact with brightly painted vintage spurs. No breaks or repairs noted. Original Black Rubber Gun Belt with single holster is clean and complete with belt buckle nubs present and intact. Standard Issue Lebel Revolver is intact with minimal play wear. Trigger guard is intact. No paint rubs. Sword and Scabbard are complete and intact with very light paint rubs and play wear. No breaks or repairs noted.
