Description: One of the many “lawsuit” guitars to come out of the Matsumoku factory in the 70’s, this particular SG copy is marked IBZ and is essentially an Ibanez 2354S, which was made in 1973. The guitar appears all original apart from the switch tip and the strap knobs. It has tons of mojo and plays great. The neck is straight (truss is functioning), and the frets don’t show a ton of wear. There are a good amount of bumps and bruises on the body, most notably on the edges. There is a finish crack near the neck joint that looks scary but is 100% cosmetic. These can all be seen in the photos. Electronics all in working order with no scratchy pots. The neck plate is currently on upside down. The rear control plate cover is missing, so you’ll likely want to replace that and set it up to your tastes. Standard SG scale (24.75” with 20 frets). It weighs 6 pounds, 15 ounces and is a joy to play. There is no case but it will be packed and shipped with the utmost care.
