Description: This is a vintage Yamaha FG-240 Nippon Gakki acoustic guitar that was made in Japan in 1972. It has a spruce top and mahogany back and sides. To improve the sound quality, the original plastic nut and plastic bridge pins have been replaced with bone. It also has a bone saddle along with new D'Addario EJ16 phosphor bronze light gauge strings. Considering the age of the guitar, it is still in pretty decent shape. The bone saddle has been sanded down as low as possible to improve the string action height. As far as appearance, the guitar has some minor dings, scratches and blemishes. See the close-up photos for a more detailed inspection. Thanks for your consideration and be sure to check out the other vintage guitars I have for sale!
