Description: Very Rare! (I've been collecting Westerns since 1888, Spent 4 years in Boulder and this is the only one I've seen.Looks like a NX43 pattern, but with a 4 1/2" blade, 8 3/8" overall. Hilt is made with dark brown sole leather washers. Guard appears to be an aluminum casting with an unusual 3 line stamp, "WESTERN STATES", "CUT. & MFG. CO." and "BOULDER. COLO". The old original sheath is worn and damaged at cutting edge and hilt snap. Although the Western States Cowboy logo is stamped on the front, It is old and faded (barely visible).
