Description: UNUSED VINTAGE 1" BROWN PACHMAYR MANUFACTURED HONEYCOMB RECOIL PAD -- VERY CLEAN CONDITION, LARGE SIZE 5 1/4" X 1 3/4", 3 1/8" hole spacing. It's not a precise measurement. This is an unused recoil pad, no original packaging, no screws. It has not been shaped, nor sliced/punched for screws. BUT it has gotten worn with age, and it has a third hole drilled in the center. It has some scuffs and is clearly used but nice condition, real sharp -- but it is an older, vintage item. The rubber is still responsive as if new -- no checking or cracking when the honeycomb is flexed. It will perform absolutely as it should. It has a hole drilled through the logo, this is often for tightening the butt stock. Makes me think because of this rather universal size, it was used on something other than a Perazzi. Should fit: Some Perazzi shotguns, and it will fit other manufacturers. Please measure your stock to be sure, and note that the hole spacing is 3 1/8" . If you are unfamiliar with shaping and installing a new recoil pad, take a look at any of the how-to videos online. It does require some basic mechanical aptitude, and a circular sander. You may also need to mark and drill your stock if the holes are not ±3 1/8" inches apart. If you've done this before this is a nice opportunity to get one vintage, largely untouched, at a great price. But if you have any doubts about shaping and installing it, please pass on this item. This recoil pad has a great honeycomb look, and is ideal for someone who wishes to add that vintage touch to a firearm. See images for dimensions. Pad height is 1" at the center (where length of pull is measured), 1 1/8" at the shoulder (top), and 1 1/4" at the heel (bottom). I believe this was called a trap profile. Again, although this is very clean, it looks as if it's been around a bit, some light marks here and there. Even so, it will look awesome on the right firearm. Lots of life left.
