Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE You are bidding on a 4-piece lot of “Vietnam War B&W Photos of Vietnamese Women". These are the type of photos the average GI would take while serving in Vietnam. Two of the photos are of the same woman. She wears her hair bouffant style instead of the traditional Vietnamese style and is wearing a western style dress. No doubt this was to look more “American”. The one photo has a beautiful Vietnamese girl in a traditional attire but with a western hair do. The final photo is of a Vietnamese band with two Vietnamese “go go girls”. I am reminded of a cynical quote by the WW 2 war correspondent Ernie Pyle which goes “Americans, why can’t everybody be like us? These are original photographs and not some digital reprint. These photos came from a huge collection of Vietnam ephemera I will be listing as time permits.
