Description: This listing is for a piece of Victorian era blouse recently purchased from our local historical society deaccession sale. It is made of black garbadine wool that is lined with mocha brown cotton. The bodice panels are gold silk with a black lace overlay and it has beaded trim on the bodice and the ends of the sleeve. It has a high collar, puffed sleeves. Size SmallMeasurements:Length-- 16". Hips-27". Waist--24" around.Bust-32". Sleeve Length-16" Shoulder-11". Condition: Poor. There are numerous holes and damage where the fabric is dry rotted. There are missing beads and holes in the lace. See close up photos.
