This is a Stratocaster 3S 3/4" solid Southern Yellow body. southern yellow pine is the hardest of all the pines and make excellent bodies! Some natural stain is common on southern yellow pine. This body is composed from a combination of woods which gives it unique sides. This would look beautiful with a grain enhancer and topcoats. Grain filler is recommended with southern yellow pine if you want that mirror finish. This body weighs in at 4 lbs. 8 oz. and accepts all of the standard Strat hardware and Strat type neck. We sand it to 150 grit. All knots are all sealed and smooth. You can pay a lot more but you will not get a better body. The body shown in the listing is what you get. We won't substitute on you!
