Description: Unbranded Homemade Breadbox Radio from the 1920s/30s 12" wide x 6.25" high x 5.5" deep. Untested. Non-working at the moment. 1 tube in unit. I'm told what appears to be a missing tube was likely a socket occupied by what is probably a coil. The coils had four pins and were wound at times on old tube bases suggesting the set may be a single tube radio, or possibly a shortwave converter. These, my informant tells me, were used as front ends for a medium wave radio so one could listen to shortwave on a radio that normally only picked up AM broadcasts. Shipping to USA only.
