True Vintage Lillie Ann Paris 1950s City Coat Women Winter Beige Wool S

Description: True Vintage 1950's overcoat-style winter coat by Lilli Ann Paris. Original cloth embroidered label says Paris Lilli Ann San Francisco. There is also a cloth label which says Tisse' a Paris pour Lilli Ann Paris. I believe that this means that the fabric was woven in France. Apparently the founder of Lilli Ann traveled to Paris after WWII and returned with fabrics and French designs. Light beige color wool with a ribbed weave. The condition is virtually like new with no obvious wear - No damage noted. No holes, tears, stains or odors. Fully-lined with satin-finish matching color fabric. The lining is perfect. Pocket on each hip. Closes with 2 fabric-covered buttons. Buttonholes are bound. See all photos. Fur trim at the hem is dark brown. There's just a little bit of crushing from storage but no damage. The fur is basted onto the coat and can be quickly removed if you don't want it. Please request before shipping and I can do that for you. Coat is quite clean, though I have NOT had it dry-cleaned. I wear a size 4 and the coat fits me like a small to medium size. Comfortable over a shirt and sweatshirt with extra room. The mannequin in the picture wears a modern 2 and is 5'8" tall. The fit is straight, relaxed and oversized, possibly to be worn comfortably over a suit back in the day. With the buttons fastened, the chest measures about 42", lying flat. Full length is about 39", depending on how it fits you. Sleeves are raglan and about 21" long. This is approximate because there is no horizontal shoulder seam to measure from. There is a generous hem allowance of about 1 1/2". Please compare to coats that fit you well and ask any questions you may have. My schedule does not allow me to accept returns. Thank you.
