Description: The Yellow Book a selection, compiled by Norman Denny. Publisher Spring Books, London. Printed in Czechoslovakia. No date given. 372 page plus several pages of illustrations hard cover book. Book is approximately 8 x 6 x 1/4 inches. The book is a rectangle, any distortion to the shape is the camera angle. It still has its original dust jacket. Bound in yellow and black cloth, the binding is starting to loosen. Covers have edge wear, corner wear, tears, fading, and discoloration. The book has gotten wet at some point (see back cover bottom edge) but I see no water damage to the pages or elsewhere. The Dust Jacket has discoloration, stains, tears, rubs, and marks from dampness. It has been mended with cellophane tape on the inside in several places. There are more and darker smudges than showing in the photos. According to the Dust Jacket regarding the illustrations: ‘The original format has been exactly followed – to the extent, indeed, that the bulk of these pages were printed from the original plates”. Pages are light beige with light edge tanning; there are instances of foxing. Illustrations are printed on a semi-gloss white paper and are on one side of each page. In general, the pages are in very good condition. No crease, water damage, dog ears, notes, or highlighter that I saw. Any changes in color on the covers or pages are from my lighting or the fact I take bad pictures. Actual photos of the book not stock photos. All books, instructions and paper ephemera are vintage items and sold…AS IS. Although I maintain a smoke-free and a pet-free studio, I have no control over where items have been previously. I attempt to represent my goods as honestly as possible, but sometimes something will get by. If you have any doubts about an item, E-MAIL ME! I want to make sure that you will be pleased with your purchase. Although I air items in the North Carolina sun, they may still retain a musty odor.
