Description: The Twilight Zone The DVD Collection : 19 total episodes NEW, still in plastic. This is actually three slim-line DVDs (Volumes 11, 13, 16) offered as a custom package. The specific episodes featured on Volume 11 are:* Time Enough at Last (airdate: Nov. 20, 1959)* The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street (airdate: April 4, 1960) -- classic episode* The Eye of the Beholder (air date: Nov. 11, 1960) -- classic episode* Long Distance Call (airdate: March 31, 1961) * On Thursday We Leave for Home (airdate: May 2, 1963) The DVD Collection Vol. 13. It includes the following episodes: * And When the Sky Was Opened (aired Dec. 1959) * I Shot an Arrow into the Sky (aired Jan. 1960) * Death Ship (aired Feb. 1963) -- this episode stars a young Jack Klugman* People Are Alike All Over (aired March 1960) * Elogy (aired Feb. 1960) The DVD Collection Volume 16. Offered on Volume 16 are: * The Silence (airdate: April 28, 1961) * Mute (airdate: Jan. 30, 1963) * Mirror Image (airdate: Feb. 26, 1960) * Nervous Man in Four Dollar Room (airdate: Oct. 14, 1960) * The Jungle (airdate: Dec. 1, 1961) With this custom bundle, you are getting 15 episodes spread across three brand-new, factory sealed DVDs, with a combined run time exceeding 250 minutes. And, you are getting some of the best episodes from a multi-year period dating from 1959 to 1963, whereas with other collections you are either buying series for a set year or the entire series, which is obviously much more expensive. So, in my personal opinion, "The Eye of the Beholder" (Volume 11) was possibly the best Twilight Zone episode ever. It had quite the plot twist. "The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street" is another great episode. A lot of these episodes had stars from their early days, like a young Jack Klugman, who went on to star in several TV shows, including The Odd Couple and Quincy ME. Bonus features include: cast info, animated menus, bonus materials and closed captions. Apologies for the poor photo quality, but it was hard to take a picture without getting glare from the plastic wrapping. FYI, these DVDs will ship in a bubble mailer to protect them from damage and I'll ship them USPS Media Mail so you can track the shipment. Thanks for looking. FYI, I am selling additional Twilight Zone DVD sets, so feel free to check out my other eBay listings. I am also selling a number of boxed sets, many of which are brand-new and still in their original packaging.
