Description: Please note - this is offered AS IS and as described with No Return Policy Vintage authentic english pub sign Double sided with rod mount swinging hinges The Royal Oak ( every town had one ) based on the legend of Charles the Second hiding in an oak tree in the 17th century Handpainted This was a Whitbread house when pubs were tied to one brewery Made from 3/16" thick steel, and is 48" high ( to the top of the hinge ) x 36" wide Solid condition for it's age - at least 80 years old and probably older Handpainted design is still pretty intact but is weathered and faded Great as is or could be restored Heavy - right around 100 lbs Will ship crated, with full insurance and buyer Signature required The Smaller Print!
