Description: For sale is a 7 inch 45 RPM vinyl single from The Monkees titled "I'm A Believer b/w (I'm Not Yout) Stepping Stone", originally released in 1966 by Colgems Records, manufactured abd distributed by RCA Records. I bought this record used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into an archival inner sleeve, then into a storage box for 45 RPM singles, that was kept under optimum conditions for both temperature and humidity until today. In the dead wax, between the labels and the last tracks, is etched "I", followed by the matrix numbers 6-S/6-S, indicating that early stampers were used to make this first edition at RCA Record's pressing plant, located in Indianapolis, Indiana. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound qualities. The vinyl is visually graded as Excellent because of a few superficial sleeve marks, but without surface scratches, scuffs or smudges. I'm play grading this record as Excellent because of super low levels of background noise. It plays all the way through without any pops, skips or lock-ups from start to finish. You would be hard pressed to find a copy of this record in this condition, especially an Indianapolis pressing. This would be a welcome addition to anyone's collection.
