Description: For sale is a 45 RPM vinyl single by The Archies titled "Jingle Jangle b/w Justine", originally released in 1969 by Kirschner Records, distributed by RCA Records. I bought this used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into an archival inner sleeve, then into a storage box for 45 RPM singles, that was kept under optimum conditions for both temperature and humidity until today. The original inner sleeve is graded as Very Good Plus because of small wrinkles along the top opening, ink writing along the top opening and a creased corner. In the dead wax, between the labels and end of the tracks, is machine stamped an upper case "R" and the matrix numbers 6-S/8-S, indicating that early stampers were used to make this record at RCA Records' pressing plant, located in Rockaway, New Jersey. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound qualities. The vinyl is visually graded as Very Good because of sleeve marks and hairlines, none of which can be felt with a fingertip and a large smudge across almost half of "Justine". I'm play grading this record as Very Good Plus because of occasional low levels of surface noise. It plays all the way through without any pops, skips or lock-ups from start to finish. You would be hard pressed to find a copy of this record in this condition, especially a Rockaway pressing. This would be a welcome addition to anyone's collection.
