I tested four or five 1.5V batteries - AA's and a C, and they averaged about 1.55V each. I don't know if it needs to be recalibrated or not. I did no more testing than that. If it doesn't work properly for you, let me know within 7 days and I will refund your money. There is some tape and tape residue on one of its sides.
