Please allow me to present this absolutely beautiful one of a kind, original Joe Shuster drawing from the Franco Toscanini Superman collection. Franco Toscanini was one of the top 3 Superman collectors in the entire WORLD before he passed away in March of 2011. It would be your honor for anyone to even own a piece of his collection. This Clark Kent & Superman (“One and Same”) measures 18 × 23 and an ONE OF A KIND autographed drawing. This was done in 1985. This original drawing was done in person by Joe Shuster specifically for Franco Toscanini, they were good friends. Joe did the drawing and the coloring. This Clark Kent and Superman was done with a special twist, Joe updated the Superman suit from the original sketch to a newer suit on Superman making it even more rare and making it a one of a kind. A absolutely beautiful must have for any Superman collector seasoned or new. Owning a piece of Superman history like this proves that you are a true connoisseur of the superman arts and long to preserve his spirit . This drawing was done with specific intention to give Franco Toscanini a true one a kind as Joe and Franco were friends and given to Franco personally by Joe Shuster. I have had many discussions with Neal Adams about Joe Shuster, who he was also good friends with and would always show him stuff like this, and he said that Joe took a lot of pride in what he did with Superman, especially this drawing for Franco. After taking a lot of time and researching this rare item, I have noticed that even the REAL JOE SHUSTER smaller drawings, not sketches from Joe Shuster that were NOT a ONE OF A KIND are going for $6000 and UP if you can even find one for sale. Most of the stuff you see on eBay now are FAKE small black-and-white sketches and they’re still going for $100+ bucks. It is very, very rare and scarce to even get a Shuster original drawing anymore let alone a one of a kind.. Most go to auction houses and are going for huge dollar amounts.
