Description: A fabulous antique Victorian 9k gold onyx initial 'G' floral ring dating to circa 1890. This fabulous late Victorian solid 9k yellow gold ring has a wonderfully eye catching look with a central black onyx oval plaque held with six double prongs and centered with a lovely gold letter 'G' with little carved and engraved decorations all over, the ring with fantastic applied split shoulders which are raised above the band and are in the form of a tulip-like three petaled flowers, the ring with a classic band-gorgeous! The ring is stamped '9CT' and tests for 9k gold. The ring is approximately a size 7 1/4. The onyx measures about 16mm x 10mm. the letter 'G' is about 10mm x 6mm. The ring rises about 5mm above the finger and weighs approximately 2.9 grams. The ring is in excellent all original condition with only very light general light wear.
