Description: I am selling this for a friend!! This SUCCESS antique lamp is in EXCELLENT condition overall with no dents or dings in the metal parts and very minor chipping on the top of the upper globe (see photo 4!!) which will be covered when a replacement brass ring is found!! I believe the shade is the original but the internal chimney is missing and the hand painted shade, depicting a Sheppard and his flock, is signed "E. Allred", dated 1875 (see photo 2!!)!! The base is magnetic so I believe it is cast iron and the other metal parts are brass!! The switch is not working so it will need to be replaced but the wiring appears to be in fine condition!! The lamp is approx. 20" tall overall and the globes are 28" in circumference!! I will be shipping the base and globe separately to avoid damage, so it will come in two packages!! Quoted shipping charges are based on the farthest zone from me, so if you live in closer proximity to Greensboro, NC, the cost will go down!! I refund overcharges less a small packing & handling fee, so even if you pay the quoted charge you will not be overcharged!!
