These delicate dolls are made from high-quality bisque material and are a rare find from the pre-1900 time period. Perfect for collectors of antique dolls, these French-made treasures come as a set and are sure to add charm to any doll collection or dollhouse display. They wear French Bretonne, (factory original) provincial costumes. Paris France and mold number 301 along with the manufacturer's name: UNIS (Union Nationale Inter-Syndicate, union formed by Societe Francaise de Fabrication de Bebes & Jouets in 1899). Each doll has lovely painted features including closed mouths, pretty blue eyes, rosy cheeks and light brown eyebrows that match their dark blond curly wigs. They each have their original jointed, French composition bodies with joints at their shoulders and hips with low-heeled, painted brown boots. Both dolls are in excellent condition with no damages or repairs
