Description: This is a very beautiful, and unique blank set. It was professionally cut in northern Ca. 40+ years ago, air dried, stable, dense and ready to work. It has a great mix of colors - reddish, saddle tan to golden, with some fiddleback and great dark, contrasting lines. No knots or defects that I can see, this will make a wonderful custom stock. ( It is more of a golden color than reddish seen in pics with the stock pattern) The butt stock measures approx. 16.25" Long x 7" deep to 4.6" at the wrist area. It is a hair over 2 3/8" thick - plenty for a cheek piece. If the overall length is a bit short blocks can be added to the ends for working on a duplicator. The foreend is approx. 12.5" Long x 3.12" deep x 2.35" wide - it is a beautiful matching piece, great colors, fiddleback and contrasts. ****** USA Sales Only. ******
