Description: I purchased these grape cluster earrings by an unknown artist for my mother from the Sam Noble Natural History Museum in Norman, Oklahoma years ago. They have never been worn and are still on their original display card (I only took them off long enough to photograph them and confirm that the metal was sterling silver). The earrings are in excellent condition and feature clusters of amber selected for natural inclusions to catch and refract light. The sterling silver leaf and vine accents over the amber clusters are Art Nouveau-like in execution, and the silver shows good workmanship. The metal is sterling silver, and both earrings are stamped 9.25 on the earring backing and on the stud shaft. The individual earrings are 1" long x 5/8th" wide. There are adhesive marks still on the plastic display card from the price tags, but that is the only flaw that I could find. The stud shafts are well soldered to the rest of the earrings, and the amber is securely glued into place with no glops or drips of glue on the stone or the metal. These sterling and amber grape cluster earrings are perfect for gifts and for any individual who loves amber and who appreciates the individual touch that an artist brings to their work.
