Description: In this listing we have asouvenir book that was released in 1965 by 20th Century Fox topromote the upcoming film (and soon to be classic) The Sound ofMusic! This softcover book is 11.25 inches tall and 8.25 inches long.The book is broken up into two sections, the first part is acondensed retelling of the movie plot that uses pictures from themovie (including some beautiful full page illustrations) and thesecond part is a shorter section about the making of the movie,including biographies of the cast! Condition wise,the book is in fair shape. The biggest issue it has is a bend to theback cover. There's also some wear to the image on the front cover(mainly the edges), and the inside of the covers (front and back),but they are very minimal. There is also some staining and yellowingto the front and back cover. The inside pages are all clean and freefrom tears. There are some small chips to the inside cover image onthe front and back. The book binding is coming off at the front page,the page is still secure, it’s just you can see the white of thebinding along the edge and the glue used to hold the pages isvisible. The glue is also a dark brown color. It’s got some minorissues, but for a paper good item of its age it’s in goodcondition. Please examine all pictures to see the exact condition ofthis item.
