This item is new stock; however, it has been made from the old mold casting of The Mosaic Tile Co. of Zanesville, Ohio; The renowned tile maker of the last century, this Company closed in 1967 after 73 years in business.Note: these have a very tight tolerance of 3/16 of an inch overlay, so make your cut out no more the 6 inches square…use a Dremel tool to fine tune the cut out.Tip…install a 2 X 4 block at the height needed so this fixture will have something to rest on during installation. Or use very sticky aluminum tape to hold in place while adhesive dries...do not use duct tape or blue tape as these will not hold.
