I have cleaned and sanitized the entire vacuum, took it apart, washed the cloth outer bag compartment, installed NEW BELT, checked Brush roll and fan, and both are in great shape, and checked the cord, which has no rips or tears in the insulation. There is one scuff on the upper part of the vinyl part of the Simplicity bag compartment that I couldn’t buff out, but is purely cosmetic, not impacting functionality - please see pics. The additional RIccar SupraQuik Canister vacuum adds the additional capability to clean your car, bare floors, furniture, stairs, and nooks and crannies. This canister comes with onboard tools and a carry strap and weighs around 6 lbs, so is a great option for those with back issues.
