This costume jewelry company was originally called the Providence Jewelry Co.; it was founded in 1935 by Abraham Lisker. When Abraham Lisker's brother Nathan joined the company, the name was changed to Lisker & Lisker Inc. Production was halted during World War 2. In 1943, near the end of the war, the company was reformed and called the Jonette Jewelry Company, from a combination of their parents names--John & Etta. Marked with the initials "J.J.", their jewelry--mostly figural and novelty pins, including Christmas pins--is very beloved for it's originality and cuteness--and is highly collectible. Their "Artifacts" line came out in 1986. **I'm offering these at a great discounted price because I was able to obtain a lot of them. 👍😊 Here's a delightful NOS VINTAGE SET OF 3 DIMENSIONAL PEWTER PEAR, APPLE & STRAWBERRY FRUIT BROOCHES/ SCATTER PINS/ LAPEL PINS. Each fruit pin is Signed "JJ" for Jonette Jewelry Co. They come on their original "Artifacts" card and are from the late 1980's. Well made pins are pewter with fabulous dimension & detail. THEY'RE AWESOME! :) They measures approximately 3/4" to 7/8" tall x 1/2" to 5/8" across, and weigh about 0.1 oz. each. They have post tack backs with a locking butterfly clasps in working condition.
