Description: This is an original vintage leather-bound printing of the S. S. Teachers Red Letter Combination Edition of The Holy Bible, published by National Bible Press. An excellent study Bible in the King James Version with footnotes indicating all differences between the KJV text and the Revised Version text on every page of Scripture, this volume also has a self-pronouncing feature for all proper names, a red-letter feature for the words of Jesus Christ, and supplemental study materials including individual book synopses, archaeological & historical notes, chronological table, 5000 questions & answers of both the Old and New Testaments, concordance, Biblical dictionary (with a separate dictionary for proper names), color maps of Biblical lands, and much more. Family record pages appear between the Old and New Testaments. While this Bible has a 1926 copyright date, it might have been printed later, as evidenced by the handwritten date of December 25, 1941 on the "presented to" page. Overall, the copy being offered is in well-worn condition with stiff, fragile covers but rather strong binding and crisp, mostly clean pages; it is good for both study and for display but is NOT for condition-sensitive collectors. In my photos, you'll see that the covers have substantial wear, including severe chipping along the edges and prominent rub marks; the original zipper no longer works, and the part of the leather that carries the zipper has torn away from the bottom edge of the front cover (highlighted in my 4th and 5th photos). There are also occasional minor stains, smudges, wrinkles, and marks, and the family record pages are partially filled out; you can see this in my 15th and 16th photos. Writing also occurs on the "presented to..." page (see my 9th photo), on a few other pages near the front of the book (see 12th photo), and on several of the blank pages near the back cover, along with two tiny newspaper clippings attached with yellowed pieces of plastic tape (see final photo).
