Description: Up for sale here is this Sansui F-2806 driver board rebuild set. This includes all the parts you need to rebuild both F-2806 driver boards for the Sansui G-8000, G-9000, G-801, or G-901. Over time the driver boards start developing issues with transistors and capacitors, and often the old parts are weak and failing. We will make them new again! This kit includes all 10 capacitors, 16 transistors (everything except the TR09/10 drivers and the FET op-amps), all 4 fuse resistors, all 4 zener diodes, and all 6 trimmers. This is intended to update a pair of working driver boards, but it will fix a lot of problems with the driver boards as well. If your driver board is not working this kit is not guaranteed to fix your issues, as it does not include driver or output transistors. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. The capacitors are all Nichicon VY, Nichicon PW, and Wima film caps at the correct uf and the same or higher voltage ratings, and the transistors and diodes are the correct Onsemi subs for the original transistors and diodes. The trimmers are new Bourns trimmers, and the resistors are new 1% metal film resistors. These are the same parts I use when I rebuild Sansui gear. It is essential to replace the differential transistors and fuse resistors, which is why this kit includes them. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is a complicated repair, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron. Please see my pictures for details.
